The other reason to go to the grand canyon during the winter is the fact that the view is even better that it is any other time of year.  Because of the cooler weather, the skies are clearer in the wintertime.  The grand canyon is a place that is specifically for the view, and if you were told that the view is better at certain times of year that would probably make it even more interesting to you.  There are certain times of year were there might be a small amount of snow that those close some of the viewpoints, but this snowfall will tend to give it and even more interesting look and has had other times of year.  You’ll be able to see further in the distance and that’s known we’ll give it a broad and beautiful look that is not able to be had in any other time.  When you go, dress for any kind of weather in between 70 and 30° because it is nearly impossible to predict what you will get, but wearing layers will usually give you the ability to be comfortable in almost any temperature.  It might be a little crisp and the hikes that you take maybe shorter, but it is all worth it.
