There have been a significant amount of changes to the way that things are done in 2020, with regard to entertainment options. The Coronavirus pandemic has caused multiple iterations as far as regulations and suggestions for behavior, which are then confusing and difficult for many people.  Not only has 2020 resulted in a lockdown that has trapped people in their homes, it has given little as far as ways to entertain yourself outside of your own surroundings.  People enjoyed getting out and about found that their options were extremely limited, and the necessary social distancing that would keep people safe just added to the difficulties with regards to entertainment options.  It’s no surprise that one of the most popular online searches over the course of the last year has been finding out information on weather national park spaces our open and operational or not.  There has been confusion as far as visitation to these regions, because they are operated by the Federal government and are not able to be entered without authorization.  This means that during normal circumstances there would be no issues at all simply driving to the nearest national park that you want to visit and paying the fee to enter.  Because restrictions have been imposed to limit the amount of people gathering at destinations that are considered tourism oriented, Federal government has decided to restrict the amount of people that can enter national park spaces during 24 hour periods of time in some circumstances.  This means that you can no longer simply drive to the national park that you wish to visit and enter.  Now you need to secure a reservation before hand, many times this means that you will need to secure that reservation upwards of a month in advance.  Even those with national park passes there are not able to enter without reservations.

 

In order to provide a clearer understanding of the operational aspects of national parks, how we can tell you that we are one of the few operators that is still providing tours to national parks in the American Southwest.  We can operate under our commercial licensing to gain entry for our groups, meaning that even if you have not secured the reservation to a place like Bryce and Zion, you can still enter the park as part have one of our tours.  We ago none of our way to comply with CDC regulations as far as the safety of our guests through the limitation of the amount of seats being sold on each vehicle, as well as requiring masks to be worn at all times.  Our vehicles are sanitized before tours and all guests are checked content which are done as well as a series of questions regarding symptoms.  Through the different measures that we are employing, we are keeping our guests both save and entertained by allowing for visitation to our great national park areas, and doing so in a way that only mildly impacts our guests.  We are operational and providing tours to national parks in 2022
